The genes that are linked to migraines may cause an infant to be more sensitive to external stimuli and become &#8220;colicky&#8221;. The study also indicates that fathers with migraines also increase the chance of colic too. This new research study may help new parents better prepare for infants with colic symptoms. Some strategies may be to decrease loud sounds like music or television and to turn off bright lights.
