\"\"<\/a>The\u00a0Attention Deficit Disorder Association<\/a><\/strong> (ADDA) is designated as a\u00a0501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization by the Internal Revenue Service. This\u00a0international organization has been in existence since 1989. The mission of ADDA\u00a0is to provide information, resources and networking to adults with AD\/HD and to\u00a0the professionals who work with them. In doing so, ADDA generates hope,\u00a0awareness, empowerment and connections worldwide in the field of AD\/HD. Bringing\u00a0together scientific perspectives and the human experience, the information and\u00a0resources provided to individuals and families affected by AD\/HD and\u00a0professionals in the field focuses on diagnoses, treatments, strategies and\u00a0techniques for helping adults with AD\/HD lead better lives.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Children\u00a0and Adults with Attention-Deficit\/Hyperactivity Disorder<\/a><\/strong> (CHADD) is\u00a0a national non-profit, tax-exempt (Section 501 (c) (3) ) organization providing\u00a0education, advocacy and support for individuals with AD\/HD. In addition to our\u00a0informative Web site, CHADD also publishes a variety of printed materials to\u00a0keep members and professionals current on research advances, medications and\u00a0treatments affecting individuals with AD\/HD. These materials include Attention!\u00a0magazine, the CHADD Information and Resource Guide to AD\/HD, News From CHADD, a\u00a0free electronically mailed current events newsletter, as well as other\u00a0publications of specific interest to educators, professionals and parents.<\/p>\n

National\u00a0Resource Center on AD\/HD<\/a><\/strong>: A Program of CHADD is funded through a\u00a0cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. \u00a0Attention-deficit\/hyperactivity disorder (AD\/HD) affects how millions of\u00a0children and adults function on a daily basis. The NRC was created to meet the\u00a0information needs of both professionals and the general public.<\/p>\n
